2 Chainz, born Tauheed Epps, is an American rapper, songwriter, and media personality. He was born on September 12, 1977, in College Park, Georgia, and initially gained fame as one-half of the hip-hop duo Playaz Circle, alongside Earl “Dolla Boy” Conyers.
In 2011, 2 Chainz signed a solo deal with Def Jam Recordings, and released his debut album, “Based on a T.R.U. Story,” in 2012. The album debuted at number one on the US Billboard 200, and included hit singles like “No Lie” and “Birthday Song.”
Since then, 2 Chainz has released several successful albums, including “B.O.A.T.S. II: Me Time,” “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music,” and “Rap or Go to the League.” He has collaborated with a variety of other artists, including Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Drake, and Travis Scott.
2 Chainz has also dabbled in acting and television, making appearances in shows like “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” and “Atlanta,” as well as hosting his own show on Viceland called “Most Expensivest.” Overall, 2 Chainz is known for his catchy hooks, energetic performances, and larger-than-life personality.
When 2 Chainz approached us with an exceptional project to revisit his Rolex® Daytona® and give it the mechanical style of his favorite album released in 2017 “Pretty girls like trap music”, we knew we were in for a challenge. Working alongside him, we embarked on a series of highly technical modifications inspired by 2 chainz universe. Revisiting the iconic 4130 movement from this perspective was a major feat. Every element and detail pays homage to this exceptional Hip Hop Artist and his passion for Rap.
